A Commuter’s Education

Sometimes, when my mind is able to push through my commitments to work, school and family, I find myself on the other side of my obligations and joyfully filled with the gorgeosity that is the city of Chicago. What a beautiful place! Held-in on one side by 150 miles of reflecting fresh water, frozen and steaming, and on the other sides it is sprawling out to America’s destiny. A city filled with dreams that are yet to be realized, and people who are fighting for them. What a great place to seek my future. A future that is being shaped by the education I am receiving at Northwestern, a future that, like the sun’s reflection on Lake Michigan, is so bright I can barely stand to look at it. Thank you MSC, and thank you Chicago, for the joys and opportunities you are giving me.
